It all began on a dark, humid night. Through the crowded digital web, there was a story being broadcast, which started as all stories do...well if none did, now they do!
Waaaaa…Wailing out in relief and joy, I can only thank my stars for having aligned in the right formation leading to my celestial and inconsequential birth. Quite like the one in a million spermatozoa hitting (SCORING with) the egg, my master’s thoughts and intentions to conceive me were wasted until of course destiny prevailed and my master’s efforts bore fruit.
The process of conceiving a blog is quite like human courtship. It begins from a simple glance or a quick exchange of looks between the man and the woman in the real world while in the digital world it can be between you and beautiful laptop or the ugly desktop, whichever way you like it. The quintessential desire to be flaunting it – he/she has such a cute catch! The “I should have one too” syndrome affects you and captures you in a vice like grip. As the days pass by, you yearn to get her number, domain name in the digital world (blogspot.com for example). Having accomplished that, you make calls at long intervals, adopting a tentative approach to know a little more and experience the delight of being let in to her world slowly and with an ease that according to you is blissful.
Once you have reached a certain level of comfort, your profession of love for seeing each other is instant and you court each other, visiting newer places each time you meet. You can spend evening pondering about the future, thinking whether you’re moving too fast or too slow! The desire to do something extra overwhelms you and you make that final push for consummation. But, as in the real world, you are stopped, there are other things that take and need more priority – my career, my independence, etc. – Aren’t we fine the way we are?
You are disheartened for a while but forget all about it the next day and again fight for what is yours and live your life to the fullest. You depend more and more on this blog friend of yours – social networking, friendship, a listening post, a cribbing outpost and what not. The trial of this courtship and your patience depends on whether or not you have the desire to make it work.
In the end the happy and successful live through this time-trial and it calls for a celebration. A time when suddenly everything around you is linked to a singular entity and your focus is on getting it done as soon as possible. The right ornaments, the right appearance and the right list of invitees. As time passes further you realize that it takes more effort than you thought to make it work. You try hard not to let it get to you or to give up. Not to astray to a more tempting offering, take the easy way out – acquire fresh domains. And you realize that for one blog of a relationship all it takes is Thoda pyaar thoda magic!!!
And when that happens, a bastard of a blog is born. So my friends, the moral of the story is no one was ever born or lived through this world without acquiring the right parents. Please bless this bastard blog of mine with your blessings so as to avoid it being depressed with an incestuous existence.

Having been on this side of the digital fence, by being an active blog reader, I’ve finally made it as a blogerati. Of humble beginnings, my first entry is dedicated to myself. Kindly do feel free to know that I shall and will post my opinions quite unapolegitcally while you are expected to maintain some decorum in responding to my posts. I am thankful for your visit to this blog and if you don’t’ like my posts you can choose to vent your anger on your neighbor or your lovely boss.
My alter ego said -
Having made the choices that I have in my life I think I would make the same choices given a chance again. I am proud of who I am.
My kunfyoozlicious response – Life doesn’t give you a second chance. You gotta get it right the first time!
